1st Responder Training
(2-3 days) The 1st Responder training course is designed for the customer to perform routine operation of the UPS System and to identify alarm conditions. The course discusses fundamentals of operation and identification of system failures. Operation of the equipment is described in lecture/discussion sessions and practiced in hands-on sessions. Power flow, UPS controls, and alarm functions are discussed. Course emphasis is on practical application. Morning lecture/discussion sessions are followed by afternoon application sessions in a training laboratory environment. Courses are normally 2 to 3 days in length. Prerequisites This
course is designed for the individual whose job requires them to
operate the UPS and identify alarm conditions. To obtain the most
benefit from the course, the prospective student should have
general knowledge of electrical / electronic theory. Knowledge of
computer applications such as Microsoft Windows and Microsoft
HyperTerminal are strongly recommended. Our state-of-the-art training center located in Raleigh, North
Carolina includes five classrooms and an extensive lab area with
over two million dollars in UPS, battery and power monitoring
equipment. Trainees receive both lecture and hands-on training
from highly qualified instructors, who have a combined total of
over ninety years’ experience in technical training. In addition to courses held at our training center, we can also conduct private group training at your facility. Depending on availably of equipment, class size is normally 10 students. Students receive the same quality training offered at the factory.
