Eaton Receives Frost & Sullivan 2007 Power Quality Vendor Of The Year Award in Asia Pacific Region

SINGAPORE … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation today announced that it has been named 2007 Power Quality Vendor of the Year in the Asia Pacific region by Frost & Sullivan. The award was given to Eaton because of the company’s ability to exhibit growth in the Asia Pacific region and its demonstrated leadership in product innovation during 2006 for the Asia Pacific markets.

“Eaton is one of the key power quality companies in the Asia Pacific region and has consistently increased its presence in a highly competitive market,” said Subramanya Bettadapura, research manager, Power Systems, Frost & Sullivan. “Eaton’s strong branding, wide product portfolio and a high level of customer commitment, make it a strong and valuable contributor to the power quality market.”

Eaton continues to provide power quality solutions that increase safety, reduce downtime and increase customers’ profitability. The recent acquisition of MGE UPS Systems’ small business, Aphel Technologies and Pulizzi Engineering, Inc., has strengthened the company’s product portfolio and improved its capabilities in the power quality business.

“Despite a highly competitive market, Eaton has been able to increase its presence in the region with strong branding and a wide range of power quality products,” said George Ow, general manager, Power Quality and Solutions Operation - South East Asia. “We are honored to be the recipient for this prestige award.”
