EATON’S NEW POWERWARE® 9155 IS UPS TECHNOLOGY AT ITS BEST

Feb 28 2007, HELSINKI, FINLAND … Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation (NYSE:ETN) has today unveiled the Powerware 9155, a new double-conversion online 20 – 30 kVA uninterruptible power system (UPS).

With capability to parallel up to four units with Eaton’s flagship hot sync technology, the Powerware 9155 widens the selection of one phase output products for customers who require high power on one phase momentarily or continuously.

According to Anssi Lehmusvaara, Eaton Product Marketing Manager, " The new 9155 provides Eaton customers ultimate protection from all nine of the most common power problems facing businesses today through a product which is great value for money and technologically superior to other products in this range."

The new Powerware 9155 also provides state-of-art 0,9 power factor, offers a unique multi-lingual LCD display, a wide range of connectivity options to make power management easy for IT and facility managers, long runtimes with it’s internal battery feature and comes with a small footprint.

"Not to mention, it’s 93 per cent efficiency rate, internal bypass switch, local language support and of course it’s active input power factor control," explains Anssi Lehmusvaara, Eaton. The new 9155 is available in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa February 28, 2007.
