EATON’ new POWERWARE 9355 UPS 40-kVA breaks new ground

HELSINKI, FINLAND…Diversified industrial manufacturer Eaton Corporation (NYSE:ETN) has unveiled the new Powerware 9355 40 kVA, a double-conversion online uninterruptible power system (UPS) complete with an internal battery solution.

The new Powerware 9355 40 kVA renowned for its slim and modern design, produces the industry’s highest power output per square metre and coupled with it’s internal batteries capabilities makes valuable space savings in server rooms.

The new 9355 model boasts a new service bypass switch as standard, in addition to all the other features that are synonymous with the Eaton 9355 name; supports non-PFC and PFC server loads with power factors from 0.7lag to 0.8lead; upgradeable capacity via Hot Sync parallel sharing technology; user friendly LCD with light blue backlight; flexible connectivity with X-slot cards along with Web/SNMP and Modbus options; and high battery charging capability for up to several hours. The system also offers a unique multi-lingual and graphical LCD user interface.
